Wider Network of Care

The Pastoral Associates offer support to South Church members by organizing a large group of volunteers called the Wider Network of Care(WNC). These people send cards, make meals, offer companionship, give rides, do light chores, provide pet care, and help with Celebration of Life receptions.

WNC volunteers sign up in any or all of these areas, and choose when they are able to help. There is no minimum requirement; volunteers might send one card, or ten, make one meal, etc… It is completely up to each WNC volunteer when and how often they participate.

We are blessed at South Church to have over 250 members and friends who have signed up to be WNC volunteers! When we work together like this, we are able to offer – and receive - help when it is needed.
