Getting Here

Directions

From I-95 northbound, take Exit 7, turn right at end of exit ramp onto Market St.
From I-95 southbound, take Exit 7, turn left at end of exit ramp onto Market St.
Stay on Market Street which will bring you all the way to Market Square in downtown Portsmouth (stay in left lane when street splits).
When you come into Market Square, turn right at the stop sign.
Go to the first traffic light (stay in far-left lane, this is a one way street) and turn left onto Fleet St. At the next traffic light, turn left onto State St. Stay in the right hand lane and the front of the Unitarian Universalist building (South Church), is one block up on the right at 292 State St.

Parking

Parking is free on Sunday mornings until noon. Metered parking is in operation Sunday noon - 7pm and Monday through Saturday 9am-7pm. The fee is $1.00 per hour and requires that you move your car every two hours.
There is metered parking on State Street, in the front of South Church, on Court Place to the side of the Church and on Pleasant St. one block up from the Church.
Other parking is available at the Hanover/High/Fleet Street Municipal Parking Garage, on a fee per hour basis; or in the free Parrot Street Municipal parking lot, both of which are two blocks from South Church.
