Shared Collection
Each month, our congregation shares half the collection with an organization doing good work in the world or our local community. Members nominate and then vote on nine recipients, our children and youth select one, our Social Justice Associates select one, and one is left to the discretion of the minister(s) - often allocated to unforeseen emergent needs, such as natural disasters or humanitarian relief. Voting for April through March support organizations is held in February of each year.
